ELIE SAAB DRESSES PRINCESS CLAIRE
Miss Claire Lademacher wore an ELIE SAAB Haute Couture wedding dress for her marriage to HRH Prince Felix of Luxembourg, designed exclusively for the occasion. Entirely made and embroidered by hand in the designer’s Haute Couture ateliers, the bridal gown’s design took its inspiration from the idea of an Ode to Delicateness. The royal wedding dress was made of Chantilly lace embroidered with cream and silver, silk thread leaf motifs, and embellished with translucent crystals and mother-of-pearl sequins. The veil was made of ivory silk tulle, decorated with neo baroque leaf motifs, echoing the embroidery patterns on the gown. The train was three metres long.
